NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Mexican authorities say forensic testing on the body of slain Monica Beresford-Redman, the wife of TV producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, is nearly completed, and an arrest is expected this week.

Mexican officials told the New York Post on Monday that "80 percent of forensic tests have been completed."

Quintana Roo state Attorney General Francisco Alor said they were waiting for the results of forensic tests before deciding whether to arrest Bruce Beresford-Redman in the death of his wife, but gave no details during last week's news conference on what tests were performed on the body.

Bruce Beresford-Redman, a former "Survivor" producer and creator of"Pimp My Ride," has been named as a suspect and has surrendered his passport in Mexico, but has not been charged.

Monica Beresford-Redman was found dead in a sewer at the Moon Palace resort in Cancun earlier this month. Investigators say witnesses saw the couple arguing the night before the producer reported her missing.
