Pizza Delivered With Everything...Including Police Escort! Gunman Apparently Aiming for Pepperoni

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Your pepperoni or your life!

A New York City pizza delivery guy made like a hero when he fended off a gunman while making his rounds in Harlem last week.

Frank Grecco, the owner of Famous Famiglia pizza in East Harlem, says 19-year-old Assami Semde was trying to deliver two pizzas to an apartment when two men started harrassing him.

Grecco says one man pointed a gun at him and told him to leave the pizzas -- one pepperoni, one cheese, if you must know.

Grecco says Semde put the pies down, and when the gunman bent over to grab them, Semde shoved him so he'd lose his balance.

Ultimately, Semde got a police escort to deliver the pizza.  To deliver a taste of justice, police say one man was arrested for attempted robbery.
