(CBS News) I've discovered that if you're out sick for just one day, you come back to a massive amount of amazing videos. And while that sounds great in theory (okay, and it actually is kind of is great), it also means I have a lot of catching up to do in order to provide you all with the best viral videos that the web has to offer. So, to try and play a little catch-up, I'm going to give you all a double-dose of slow-motion goodness in this post. First up is a light-hearted look at summer, childhood and... water balloons. Yeah, that's right: water balloons!
The Vimeo video entitled "A Phantom Flex Summer Story" was posted by Brad Kremer who writes:
So what do you when you have a day off and a $300k camera package sitting at your house? Invite all of the neighborhood kids and throw a water balloon party of course! Duh!
As summer coms to an end and Autumn begins, kids go back to school and dream of warm days filled with laughter and joy. This short film is a reflection of that dream. Shot with a Phantom Flex it captures the magic of the moment. With frame rates of up to 2564 fps at 1080p we see every detail, every smile and every sparkle in the kids eyes. And that is where the magic lies. Within the hopes and dreams of our children.
And next up on our list is one of The Feed's favorites who have been featured here many, many times in the past: The Slow Mo Guys! , they demonstrate something that is fascinating to see, but no one should ever (seriously, ever!) try themselves. Check out some molotov cocktails exploding in super slow-motion in the video below.
