The city of San Francisco without people will make you think

(CBS News) Do you remember that scene in "Vanilla Sky" where Tom Cruise runs around the empty streets of New York City's Times Square? This is kind of like that, but in San Francisco.  And it's really, really awesome. I'd recommend watching in high-definition if at all possible.

The thought-provoking and beautiful video was created by Ross Ching and posted by Thrash Lab who write about the project:

The "Empty America" series begins in San Francisco. From the Golden Gate Bridge to Fisherman's Wharf to Lombard Street to Ghirardelli Square to the Bay Bridge - get a good look at some of San Francisco's most iconic landmarks (wiped empty of tourists and traffic).

Honestly, I think the idea for this project is amazing and the visuals from this first in the series are simply stunning, which is why it has just earned a big triple-rainbow salute of wonder and awe from all of us here at The Feed. I'm totally excited to see what city is covered next!  And if you'd like to learn more about Thrash Lab, you can visit their website by clicking here.
